About Joelle Jones

Joelle is a Portland, Oregon-based artist whose first published work was in the Dark Horse anthology Sexy Chix in 2006. She followed later that year with her first full-length graphic novel, 12 Reasons Why I Love Her, published by Oni Press. She has since worked on two more Oni projects, the crime comic book You Have Killed Me and the supernatural comedy Spell Checkers, both in collaboration with writer Jamie S. Rich

Over the last several years, Joelle has worked for just about every major publisher. She contributed to the DC/Vertigo series Fables and Madame Xanadu, as well as drawing the Minx graphic novel Token; Dark Horse hired her for Joss Whedon's Dr. Horrible, Janet Evanovich's Troublemaker, and P.C. Cast's House of Night; stories for Madman Atomic Comics and Liberty Comics at Image; adapting O.T. Nelson's The Girl Who Owned a City for Graphic Universe; and Brian Michael Bendis selected her for the Iron Man team-up story in Ultimate Spider-Man #150 at Marvel.

Joelle has more work on the way from both Oni Press and Vertigo.
