Andy Belanger works as a freelance cartoonist/illustrator out of the Montreal-based Studio Lounak. He does work in the mainstream comic market, plus a wide variety of work for the Canadian Film, Television, and Video Game industries. In the mainstream comics market, Andy has worked for such publishers as D.C. comics, Windstorm, Devil’s Due, IDW, Boom and IMAGE comics! Currently, he is the artist on the Sci-Fi hit Southern Cross at Image comics with Becky Cloonan, Current artist on Vampirella with Dynamite, Mythopia with Grant Morrison and The Simulationists for Heavy Metal Magazine with Duncan Trussell and Donny Cates and the WWE comics line for Boom Studios. Other works include SwampThing with Scott Snyder and Jeff Lemire for D.C. comics and Friday the 13th for Wildstorm. Andy was also lead Trailer Animator on FarCry 3 Blood Dragon for Ubi Soft. He is also a Pro Wrestler for IWS out of Montreal and wrestles under the name BOB “The Animal” Anger.
