Aixado was born in Avila, Spain, and current lives between the Canary Islands and Barcelona/Madrid. She started her artistic career in Barcelona as a member of the “Sagrada Familia” art group in 1983. Aixado works with various art techniques and media, including Oils, pastels, and watercolours. Pastels are her favorite media, and also what earned her numerous art awards and nominations. She is a realistic painter, well-known and stablished in Europe with a specialty in portrait/fantasy work. Member of several art associations, including ASPAS (Spain), The Pastel Society of America (NY), and PASIT Pastellisti Italiani (Italy).
